Monique joined AnaptysBio, now First Tracks Bio, in March 2023 and leads corporate communications, brand management, patient advocacy and internal communications.
Introduction
Before joining Anaptys, now First Tracks Bio, Monique led Global Communications at AVROBIO, where she oversaw Corporate, Medical/Scientific and Internal Communications. She previously served as Vice President of Corporate Communications at Spark Therapeutics, guiding internal and external communications and leading corporate social responsibility. While at Spark, she directed communications for the U.S. approval and launch of the first gene therapy for a genetic disease, a milestone that helped define a new era in medicine.
Earlier in her career, Monique led U.S. Public Affairs for Biogen and held senior leadership roles at Ogilvy PR and MSLGroup, advising global clients on reputation strategy, crisis management, and stakeholder engagement.
A frequent conference speaker and guest lecturer, Monique is active in industry and professional communities, including Ticket to Biotech (T2B) and the Forum Group. She has served on the Boards of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (Boston and New England chapters), Mothers’ Milk Bank Northeast, and Harvard Business School’s The Boardroom program, where she worked with MBA candidates on real‑world executive leadership challenges.
Monique holds a BA from Bowdoin College and completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School.
