Carlos A. Garcia, M.S.
Introduction
Carlos Garcia joined First Tracks Biotherapeutics in August 2026 as Senior Vice President, CMC.
He brings more than 20 years of biotechnology leadership experience spanning biologics development, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and regulatory affairs. Most recently, Carlos served as Chief Technology Officer at Rakuten Medical, where he oversaw the development and delivery of complex biopharmaceutical products. Prior to Rakuten Medical, he held leadership positions at Gilead Sciences, Arresto Biosciences, and Pfizer. Carlos post-graduate studies were in biochemistry and structural biology at the University of California, Irvine. He earned an M.S. in Chemistry and a B.A. in Biochemistry from California State University, Fullerton.
